Environment
Prösels is a little, idyllic hamlet, but a perfect starting point for easy and demanding hikes. The village is known for the famous castle Prösels and it's well preserved church. You can also find a lovely restaurant called Pröslerhof, which offers traditional cuisine.
A bus is passing right next to our farm, it brings you to the well known Seiser Alm and to Tiers am Rosengarten. If you desire a fresh cooling after a long hiking day, the Völser Weiher presents the ideal opportunity for cooling off.
You are always welcome to witness all the different animals on the Schantlhof: cows, little calves, chickens, ducks, cats and goats.
The area Schlerngebiet is very popular for its great skiing resorts. The nearby situated skiing area Seiser Alm (10km) and Karerpass (20km) provide well arranged slopes for every difficulty level. The ski resorts can be arrived also by bus.
